Incase you haven't seen the previous thing, here's the full part i got so far. I'll put a green slash where the update is.
Prologue: Silence. Dull, shadow-layden grass shivered in the stiff, heavy air. Swathes of fog drifted slowly across the dark, quiet clearing. Phantom-like trees erected like pillars, surrounding the space, their leaves suffocating any illumination that could hope to get in. A granite-colored rock sat by the edge of the clearing, next to a clump of dry, old moss. A sluggish stream trickled by, black and unnatural-looking in the lighting. A shadow slunk by, creeping towards the boulder. Reaching the rock, the shadow sat upon it, claiming it as his own. It was a cat, with dark purple fur, and a deep gash in his throat. / His eyes opened, gleaming a light purple-blue, in the foggy, weighty air. His mouth slowly turned up into a wicked smile as he spotted a cat walking slowly in the darkness, as if unsure about why they're there.
